PLAY EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE INSPECTIONS & REQUIRED ANNUAL PLAYGROUND SAFETY AUDIT INSPECTIONS

Playground Maintenance Inspection

The Department of Education and Training, Victoria Guidelines for School Playgrounds: Playground Safety Management recommends regular audits and maintenance inspections of all Playground Equipment which includes at least one outside professional audit inspection per year. The guidelines take into consideration the current Australian Standards and are designed to minimise the risk of injury to children which is outlined in the Australian Standards AS/NZS 4685.0-2017.

Our Risk Assessors are qualified and competent in the inspection of Playground Equipment, which includes OHS around all playground equipment.

Playground Maintenance Inspection includes;

  • A Playground Maintenance Team to inspect all play structures for wear & tear, damage or vandalism

  • Undertake minor repairs as well as replacing old fixtures and fittings such as bolts, caps, shackles, S hooks etc.

  • Full responsibility including professional advice & insurance.

  • A detailed written quote for any major repairs that could not be done at time of inspection
